To put it simply, a whimsical, symbolic spring Venice beach wedding!
Kathrin and Christopher spent two days enjoying beautiful Venice and sharing celebrations of their love with their dearest and nearest. Nothing could have stated the grandeur of their love’s exaltation better than the location they chose, the Molino Stucky Hilton Hotel on the Island of Giudecca. However, one of the most amazing parts was the introduction to their Venice beach wedding. Everything began on the afternoon before, when all guests met at the boat stop in San Zaccaria to board for a city tour and – of course – visit Saint Mark’s Basilica.
The tour was followed by a short break that allowed guests to prepare for the evening. Then, everyone was picked up by Venetian boat taxis and taken to a typical campiello (a small, oh-so-picturesque square) near Ponte degli Scalzi, to enjoy a typical welcome dinner featuring traditional delicacies and cicchetti paired with good wine to toast the bride and the groom. This was also the occasion to surprise guests with precious Murano glass souvenirs. Later, when dinner was over, the groom parted from the bride to celebrate his last night as a bachelor with his friends while she returned to the hotel with guests to enjoy some relax before her Great Day.
A relaxing Saturday morning was followed by a bustling afternoon of preparations, until finally the bride, the groom, the church and the reception hall were ready for guests. At 5 pm, embellished with simple flowers, candles and pastel details, the small church on the island of San Clemente saw Katrin and Christopher’s symbolic ceremony take place. A grandiose dinner then followed in the elegant halls of San Clemente Palace Kempinski, which echoed church embellishments thanks to a candle-lit, pastel-colored ambiance and featured an additional touch of black and gold in the details of the exquisite and delicious nuptial cake.
Needless to say, the dinner was rich with a variety of mouthwatering typical dishes, but the main all guests enjoyed was sharing their joy for the newlywed couple. After touching speeches and a spectacular cutting of the cake, everyone boarded on taxis again and headed toward Molino Stucky to continue celebrations of this lavish Venice beach wedding.
I feel profoundly proud of this splendid example of how tailored White Emotion’s Venice weddings packages can get and thank all the top professionals in my team that made this dream come true.
But my very special thanks go to Katrin and Christopher: I am immensely grateful to this amazing couple for having chosen to entrust their Great Day to White Emotion; sharing the pathway to your “I Do” was a true pleasure!
Congratulations, and may your love last forever!
