Emma and Dominic wedding was perhaps one of my best weddings of the past years, so much to have been published on Elle Spose Magazine. The couple was looking for an intimate and quiet location, where they could celebrate surrounded by Babybreath and Tiffany coloured details. So I decided to offer them one of my Italy villa wedding packages, the best solution for their needs.
Given the great distance between Italy and Australia, Emma and Dominic were not able to make a personal inspection, so I spoke to them and I gave them a series of photos of some wedding locations available on Lake Como. The couple accepted my advice and chose a private villa in Cadenabbia for stay and reception, Villa Carlotta for the ceremony and Villa del Balbaniello for the photo service. Specifically, the location consists of two separate villas with a common garden, ideal for separating the bridal party from the rest of the guests.
The preparation of the locations met exactly the requests of Emma and Dominic: the tablecloths were Tiffany color, matching perfectly the colors of the lake. But also confetti and other details have the same color: wedding cake, for example, was embellished with Tiffany-colored details and ribbon and the spouses cut it on a terrace with a wonderful view of the lake in perfect timing right after the sunset.
Other original details? A family Photo Booth on the entrance console of the villa, where photos were placed with small wooden clothespins, and the vintage postcards with the names of the guests at the tables.
A romantic and dreamy wedding. At the end, Emma and Dominic danced accompanied by the music of a live band, lulled by the sweet voice of the Australian singer.
