Carlo and Christan’s Lake Como wedding was a special thrill to coordinate, and an extraordinary journey in all senses of the word. The couple’s passion for travel set the scene for the day, beginning with their passport-themed invitations and shining through in all sorts of details throughout the day. Guests “checked in” with a welcome drink, “boarded the jet” during the couple’s “I dos,” and “prepared for take off” with their first toast to the newlyweds.
We have been planning LGBTQ weddings in Italy since same-sex marriage final became legal here in May 2016. Now, no one can stop two souls from celebrating their commitment to one another — and they really never could, because love is love!
With white chairs circled in rows around a landing strip leading to a lifetime of happiness, this unique ceremony set-up ensured that each guest would see every special moment of Carlo and Christian’s official union and exchange of vows.
With a bit of welcome turbulence, last but not least, some live entertainment along with a DJ made Carlo and Christian’s wedding all the more memorable as guests danced and partied into the night to everything from Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye to Tina Turner, Beyonce and beyond.
