Anna and Giuseppe Lake Como wedding took place on a hot, summer day at the end of August.
In line with tradition, bride and groom bid each other good bye the day before, to prepare in two different locations and meet again at the ceremony: the bride stays at the main villa, while Giuseppe moves to a magnificent villa in Tremezzo, where he starts toasting with friends early in the morning!
The ceremony is held in Villa Carlotta, among the milestone villas of Lake Como around 20 minutes away from the villa and, immediately after the ceremony, everyone enjoys a refreshing ice cream before the celebration of this oh-so-romantic wedding is continued amid toasting, laughing, hugging and dancing on board of a boat on Lake Como.
Entering villa Regina Teodolinda, that has meanwhile been set up for the party, guests are plunged in a romantic atmosphere, with a thousand pastel shades of pink, orange and white, delicate roses, baby’s breath and candles in alternating tall and short centrepieces. To make the setting up even more romantic, I suggested to the couple a shabby chic style, with pearl grey and pink coasters.
Just like in every “White Emotion” wedding, a very personal touch simply could not be missing: guest tables were named after the couple’s favourite dogs, which are – as I had the chance to learn – their true passion.
