Style: Elegant, traditional, fairytale
Josiane is French Canadian and Juan, a Spaniard and self-proclaimed citizen of the world. The former model met him when he was her manager back in Canada, after which they moved to Barcelona and later Paris. For such a jet-setting pair, it was only fitting to plan a magical Italian destination wedding — and White Emotion Events was to make everything wonderful, every step of the way.
For the ultimate fairytale wedding, we decided on Tuscany il Borro, the historic Ferragamo estate, as Josiane and Juan’s venue. They rented the private villa along with a selection of farmhouses to accommodate their many guests — who could also take advantage of the property’s many activities, from wine-tastings and spa treatments to hot-air-balloon rides and shopping in the neighboring medieval village. This 1,100 hectare space, which has won numerous Italian Wedding Awards, is surrounded by pure Tuscan nature: vineyards, rolling hills and greenery as far as the eye can see.
With beautiful weather on our side, we arranged the wedding ceremony outdoors, overlooking the villa’s expansive gardens. The decor was kept minimal for a modern touch amidst the timeless environment, already full of Tuscan charm. For some modern flair, especially in the ceremony decor, with tuscan charm overlooking the private ferragamo villa garden. A friend of the couple served as their officiant as they exchanged their intimate “I Dos.”
For the reception, the villa’s extraordinary gardens were at our disposal. We created a gastronomic experience featuring a live cheese maker as well as an oyster and champagne bar for guests to enjoy during the aperitif. For dinner, we set up stunning crystal candelabras and lined the elegant table with golden flatware and other touches of gold, along with white roses and peonies. On each plate, we placed a fresh, yellow lemon — just snipped off its tree. And for the sophisticated dinner menu, no expense was spared.
After dinner, the couple’s favorite DJ from Montreal ushered in a night of unforgettable fun and dancing — continuing the party from the night before at the estate’s Osteria del Borro, where the couple hosted their lively rehearsal dinner.
